Dr. Magdy Naeem is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Mechatronics Engineering program) at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), Smart Village Branch, Giza, Egypt. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Design and Production Engineering from Cairo University in 2020, his M.Sc. in Mechanical Design and Production Engineering from Cairo University in 2012, and his B.Sc. in Mechatronics Engineering from 6th October university in 2005. Dr. Naeem's research interests include Mechatronics, Robotics, Control engineering, System dynamics, Energy Harvesting systems, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems. He has published several papers in international journals and conferences. He is also a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Egyptian Society of Mechanical Engineers (ESME). In addition to his research, Dr. Naeem is also involved in teaching and mentoring undergraduate students to develop their skills and knowledge. He also guides many students working on their postgraduate research studies.
